There are two birthdays this week in the family. I've been getting ready for a little girl's special day with a request she made for doll clothes. I began sewing in early grade school when I wanted clothes for a doll. I'm sure they were quite unfinished. Since I've started quilting, I haven't done much garment sewing. It was fun to revisit armholes, tailor tacks, facings, etc. I'm a little rusty, but it certainly is fun sewing such tiny clothes. It's a secret til Friday, but I hope she and her baby doll like them.
